L'Oreal Brandstorm 2023

Have the opportunity to WIN a trip to Paris and 3-month paid internship at L'Oréal!

Brandstorm is L'Oréal's Global Innovation Competition, it is one of the biggest experience and learn innovation competitions for students.

Brandstorm is now officially accredited by EFMD Global Online Course Certification System (EOCCS), which demonstrates the quality of online learning determined by rigorous standards and Peer Review for Higher Education and Corporate Institutions, and Public Agencies (Everyone who completes participation (creates/joins a team and uploads the deliverables on the website) will be eligible for the certificate)

Topic this year is 'Metaverse' related and participants need to 'Crack the New Codes of Beauty'. There will be Masterclasses running throughout to help upskill students/participants – the first one is planned for 9th of December with the topic "Metaverse, AR & VR - hype or new business drivers" with Camille Kroely, L'Oréal Chief Metaverse Officer, and it will cover below topics:

  • Understand the Web 3 transformation
  •  What AR, VR, XR, AI really mean for Brands and consumer engagement
  •  How it will boost creativity and innovative ideas


What's in it for participants

  • Students/participants will have an opportunity to get an official certification for participating in Brandstorm & completing a complementary learning path. This certificate can enrich their CVs and profiles on professional networks, and act as an extra asset during the job search and networking.

  • Fast track your way into L'Oreal – local winners will secure an immediate interview for internship / Management Trainee Program
  • Be mentored by L'Oreal local team and global experts



  • Registrations open: 28 November 2022
  • Registrations close: 3 March 2023
  • Local semi/finals: March 2023
  • Global semi/finals: May/June 2023

Open to all young people between 18-30 years, both students and professionals and all major fields of study.

Teams of 3 – can be a mix of background/universities

Submission: 1 min video pitch and 3 slides

Note: Participants who register on the platform will automatically have access to MyTrailhead – e-learning platform where they will have more materials available.
