This seminar will explain the key elements of the Confirmation of Candidature process.
Confirmation of Candidature represents a key moment in candidature. It is when your progress to date is assessed and the viability of your research program is confirmed. As the first of three candidature milestone reviews, it also introduces you to one of the key ways in which the academic progress of Higher Degrees by Research candidates is monitored at RMIT.
This seminar will explain the key elements of the Confirmation of Candidature process, including the requirements you’ll need to meet, what you can expect at the review, and what you can do to prepare. Common issues you may encounter and ways to overcome them will also be discussed.
