Free Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate Course – international students

Take advantage of job opportunities in cafes, restaurants and other hospitality venues with this nationally recognised RSA training.

Many jobs in cafes, restaurants and bars in Australia require workers to have a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.

This one-day training course and assessment (SITHFAB021) covers the basic principles of serving alcohol and gives you the knowledge, skills and accreditation to start working in the hospitality sector.

This course is open to current RMIT international students only. Usually, this course costs $95-$120 but this session is free of cost.

Only 40 spots are available. Please ensure you are available on the exact date and time before registering as this event will only run once!

The course will include:

  • An in-class written assessment
  • A practical skills test 

Upon successfully completing the course, you will receive:

  • Statement of Attainment as a PDF file
  • A printed booklet to take home

What to bring:

  • Your USI number 
  • A few pens
  • A facemask 
  • No dress code – just dress for comfort

  • Class one: 9am-1pm AEST 
  • Class two: 1:30-6pm AEST
