Discover the purpose of literature reviews and learn how to structure yours effectively.
The first big challenge for most thesis writers is to get started on a review of the literature relevant to their field. Writing literature reviews usually involves the complex management of large bodies of research and the organisation of these into effective structures.
This Library workshop will discuss the nature and purposes of literature reviews and help you develop the necessary strategies for structuring this important section of your research writing. It includes hands-on activities, excerpts of sample literature reviews, and strategies for ensuring effective literature review structures.
