Green Caffeen launch – Grab a free coffee!

Get a free coffee on Thursday 8 June when you use Green Caffeen – available at some of your favourite coffee spots on the City campus!

Green Caffeen is a reusable cup service helping you ditch disposable cups for good!

More than one billion standard single-use cups are thrown away each year, with most ending up in landfill or the ocean because they can't be recycled. RMIT is committed to reducing waste and pollution as part of our Circular Economy Plan, which is why we've partnered with Green Caffeen.

Green Caffeen's reusable cups are available to use for free at participating cafes. The service works like borrowing a library book – simply download the app, check out a cup when ordering your coffee, and return your used cup when you're done. It's an easy way to guarantee you're never stuck without a reusable cup again.

To celebrate the launch of the Green Caffeen service at RMIT on Thursday 8 June 2023, Green Caffeen is shouting free coffee on launch day.

To redeem your free coffee:

  • Download the Green Caffeen app and create an account
  • Use the app's cafe finder to locate a participating cafe on campus
  • Order your coffee to go in a Green Caffeen cup on 8 June
  • Scan the Green Caffeen code and show the cafe staff your app.

Download the app today and make a positive impact on the planet, one flat white at a time!
