RMIT Women in STEM Conference

This interactive conference will explore the theme Species Survival: More than just sustainability through practical activities, speakers, and industry experts.

The RMIT Women in STEM Conference is designed to provide students and staff at RMIT a chance to connect and engage with various aspects of STEM.

Students will have the opportunity to connect and network with amazing alumnae, explore their own STEM superpowers and enjoy a free lunch. The conference is designed primarily for current and past RMIT VE students, however is open to RMIT students and staff of all genders who support gender equity in STEM.

Schedule

  • 9:30-10am: Welcome and keynote address (hybrid) 
  • 10-11am: Interactive panel discussion. Ask your questions, learn where they've taken their career and hear their advice for you (hybrid) 
  • 11-11:20am: Catered morning tea (in-person only) 
  • 11:20am-12:30pm: Participate in one of our practical STEM workshops, led by CoVE staff and Women in STEM Ambassadors (in-person only)
  • 12:30-1:30pm: Join us for a catered lunch, Women in STEM VE awards and an interactive networking activity (in-person only)
