YourMelbourne 2024

Applications are now open for YourMelbourne, a future-focused sandbox where you can imagine, research, design, and present your vision of Melbourne in the year 2030.

BMW Group Australia, RMIT and the University of Melbourne proudly present the fifth edition of #YourMelbourne.

Competition Brief

Background: In 2023, Melbourne, once consecutively named the world's most liveable city, secured the third spot globally.

Despite this achievement, challenges like global warming and population growth present us with a challenge to think of innovative and sustainable ways to grow our metropolis.

  • connectivity
  • sustainability

Your concept should align with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Not all of them need to be included.

Eligibility: Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 and above and who are enrolled students at RMIT University on the end date of the Promotional Period.
