About our workshops

Workshops are for new students in associate degree, bachelor and postgraduate coursework programs, but all RMIT students are welcome to attend. We offer a range of:

  • pre-semester, introductory workshops
  • workshops focusing on specific areas of academic study
  • intensive workshops that will cover everything you need to know about academic study.

Orientation to academic study (pre-semester workshop)

A general introduction to academic studies and RMIT's expectations of tertiary students. Develop learning strategies and time management skills, and find out about common RMIT learning systems and resources, including Canvas, MyDesktop, the Library website and Learning Lab.
