As part of RMIT's ongoing commitment to the safety of students around the busy CBD campus, you can now get a security staff member to walk with you to a range of nearby destinations each night.

With building work continuing on the Melbourne Metro Tunnel, lighting has been upgraded, additional security patrols are taking place and new security cameras are being added.

But the landscape is changing and having an awareness of your personal surroundings remains important. For your own safety, please be aware of what's happening around you and don't hesitate to contact RMIT if concerns arise.

To ensure you can get to your transport safely, RMIT Security Staff will walk you to a range of transport locations.
