The RMIT Regional Roadshow is another RMIT flagship outreach program that involves University students studying within STEM promoting science in a fun, engaging way to school students in country Victoria. Annually, four schools are visited in early December after Semester two exams for approximately one week in a RoadSshow, tour style event. These events include workshops, activities and experiments which engage with a wide range of students, from prep to year 12.

Develop professionally whilst motivating others

Participation in the Science Experience at RMIT provides volunteers with valuable graduate attributes through training and on the job experience.

Science experience volunteers:

  • improve their communication skills
  • develop their social and cultural awareness
  • demonstrate their work readiness
  • are provided with opportunities to work with diverse groups

Sounds great! How do I get involved?

Applications to become a Regional Roadshow volunteer are open to those students who study within the College of Science, Engineering & Health at RMIT University. You can either be an undergraduate or postgraduate student, and you must have completed at least one year of study at University.
