Studying a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) has helped Hillary Grace improve her creative skills and believe in her work.
I fell in love with the studio, the space and the teachers at RMIT. I felt like I belonged from the first instant.
“This degree has cultivated an environment for me to strengthen my conviction in my art.
“Every day is a highlight. I’m constantly being challenged to further my sense of self and my practice.
"I’ve definitely improved my conceptual thinking, self -confidence, articulation, vocabulary, curatorial skills, organisational skills, self-expression and ability to multitask.
“The second year sculpture studio course includes a work-integrated learning component, where we’re responsible for organising an exhibition for our work. It was incredibly valuable as I gained a lot of experience with the curation of work, and all of the considerations that come with setting up an exhibition space.
“I love what I do because it is the reason I am alive. Making art is my purpose in this world.”
