Luci Lee – Visual Arts
After graduating from a design college in Hong Kong, Luci Lee still wanted to explore new ways of creating visual art.

I look forward to seeing how far the knowledge from my study at RMIT can take me in art and design in Melbourne!
"I knew that RMIT’s School of Art had a great international reputation. It was the perfect stage to show myself and share ideas. The staff and other students have such open minds and are really friendly; it’s an environment to help people build themselves.
"One of my public art projects was an exhibition in Artland, run by RMIT Link Arts and Culture, as part of the City of Moreland's MoreArt public art program. I won the MoreArt award in this exhibition, which also gave me the opportunity to show more of my work in public.
"The work that I exhibited in ArtLand aimed to create a feeling of confusion between medicine and art. Using different kinds of artworks, art movements and artists, I represented them in medicine packaging and posters that would not look out of place at a pharmacy.
"For anyone else who is thinking about studying visual arts, my advice is to go to as many galleries and exhibitions as you can. Be brave, trust what you do, and act on it!"
