Current students and alumni of the Graduate Diploma in Journalism are finding work in various areas across the growing journalism industries.
As the landscape of the industry changes, graduates are moving into new media areas as well as traditional reporting roles.
A recent study by Griffith University Associate Professsor Dr John Cokley found the number of journalists in Australia "increased markedly" between 2007 and 2013.
In an article for Crikey.com, Dr Cokley said: "It's a time of growth. It's the best time to be in journalism I've seen in 35 years."
