Cafe Society and photography students join forces for over 10 years
For 14 years RMIT photography students have been working with San Pellegrino to take part in an annual competition about Melbourne’s Cafe Society.

The annual competition allows Bachelor of Arts (Photography) students to collaborate with selected cafes to capture the spirit of the Melbourne café society lifestyle.
Every year, students produce stunning work for the competition.
Pauline Anastasiou, program manager of the Photography degree, said that the longstanding partnership with the Sanpellegrino Café Society awards is an encouraging one.
“RMIT’s association with the Sanpellegrino Café Society awards has been incredibly successful and enduring over our 14-year partnership,” she said.
“The competition gives students the unique opportunity to collaborate with the industry in exploring Melbourne’s café culture, while producing quality images for their portfolios.”
