Bachelor of Applied Science (Aviation)
I hope to continue to do what I love because I have already found the passion in my life.
Having been inspired by my family since I was young, I chose to pursue my passion and a career in aviation.
I chose to study at RMIT because it is well-known in the areas of aerospace engineering and aviation. I felt RMIT could provide me with valuable industry insights and strengthen my understanding of the world of aviation. By bringing in the professionals from the field to teach, RMIT actually serves as a mirror to the industry as it changes.
As a participant on exchange to the Korea Aerospace University (KAU) in South Korea. Travelling to a different country helped me make new connections with people in the same field - while having fun and broadening my horizons.
I have also had the opportunity to intern for Cathay Pacific Airways. This experienced changed my way of thinking and gave me the chance to learn from the experts from the field.
I’m passionate about everything in the aviation industry - especially airlines and airports. In the future, I hope to become a CEO of an airline or airport, making changes to benefit people and facilitate success on a regional or even global scale.
My advice to prospective students is to work hard and learn to transfer your understanding from the course to a global scale. This will help you to keep track on this fast-pace field and enable you to have a strong foundation and broad horizons before you actually engage into the aviation field.
