The experimental laboratories at RMIT provide a great opportunity to gain access to facilities and technologies often not available in the work force. Mixing and meeting other students and colleagues is great networking and offers a very dynamic environment.
Last year I was successfully accepted into the RMIT International Industry Experience and Research Program (RIIERP). It was here that I was recommended by an RMIT Research Leader to an automotive research and development company in Germany.
Previously I was working in Systems Engineering Product Development at a major automotive manufacturer. Now I am living in Germany and completing my Masters degree as part of my final year studies while taking on an amazing work opportunity.
This shows what remarkable opportunities exist at RMIT and also what a lot of dedicated and hard work can lead to. This has most definitely been the highlight of my studies.
After completing my masters program, my ideal job would be to work in research and design for a global leader in the automotive electronics industry.
