Surveying runs in Georgia’s family. Her grandfather Phillip was a Chief Instructor for the Royal Engineers. The desire to work outdoors and an interest in maths inspired Georgia to study the diploma.
Advanced Diploma of Surveying
I currently work as a surveying assistant for a large CBD company and the practical experience I have gained on this course has helped me prepare for that.
RMIT has a great reputation for providing practical training.
I like maths and surveying appealed to me as you get to work outdoors.
There’s a history of surveying in our family, my grandfather was the Chief Instructor of the School of Military Survey (Royal Engineers). I think he was pleased with my choice to follow in his footsteps.
Before deciding to study here, I went to the RMIT Open Day and was impressed by the staff.
I’ve been able to use all the latest equipment during my studies which has helped me in my current job as a surveying assistant.
The Advanced Diploma of Surveying has been a great pathway for me and I intend to come back next year to study the Bachelor of Applied Science (Surveying).
