  1. I am seeking admissions to RMIT as a genuine international student;
  2. I have completed all sections of the application form;
  3. All information submitted by me, on this application form and all supporting documents, is correct and complete; and,
  4. Any folio, personal statements, or other personal materials submitted to RMIT are my own work;
  5. I acknowledge RMIT may cancel my offer or enrolment if I have provided incomplete, false or incorrect information and documents to RMIT in this application or at any time thereafter. I further acknowledge that RMIT may inform others, including government agencies, of this information, which may impact my visa and other actions;
  6. I authorise RMIT to disclose personal information provided by me to relevant bodies, organisations or persons to 
    • Confirm, assess and verify my qualifications and the information I have provided on this application; 
    • Obtain official records, as necessary, relating to my RMIT application.


  1. The documents that I have submitted to RMIT will become the property of RMIT and will not be returned to me.
  2. RMIT will communicate with me via the email I have provided or through the RMIT International Applicant Portal unless I inform RMIT to do so otherwise.
  3. Information I have provided on this form and during enrolment may be made available to the Australian Government, State Agencies and other designated authorities. Information about me can be disclosed without my consent where authorised or required by law.
  4. RMIT reserves the right to discontinue or alter any program, course/subject, fee, admissions requirement, staffing or other arrangement without prior notice. 
  5. RMIT may refuse me admission if my admission or enrolment at RMIT places RMIT in breach of applicable Australian laws, such as the Autonomous Sanctions Act 2011 (or similar).
  6. RMIT collects, uses and destroys my information in accordance with its privacy policy.
  7. RMIT may contact me by email, telephone, Facebook or other social media to assist with my future enrolment at RMIT.
  8. RMIT may release my contact details to third parties including advertising agencies and Facebook for the purpose of assisting with my future enrolment at RMIT. 
  9. I give RMIT University permission to check my visa status using the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) Visa Electronic Verification Online (VEVO) system.
