Course Summary

This course develops and extends your knowledge of the analysis and design process for business information systems (IS) by introducing: object-oriented techniques using the UML
notation for analysis and design; the requirements discovery process, taking into account softsystems methodology (SSM); the process of modelling business processes; the different
structures by which information systems development teams can organise themselves; and modern IS development methodologies including the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and Agile.
This course includes a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experience in which your knowledge and skills will be applied and assessed in a real or simulated workplace context and where feedback from industry and/or community is integral to your experience.
