Course Summary

The focus of this course is on forecasting. Forecasting is all about predicting the future, which if done accurately, can translate to higher profit for businesses for example (or help to improve the effectiveness of a vaccine). You will learn some of the most up-to-date forecasting techniques analysts use in the business world while we cover real-world case studies. We will also be using the very popular statistical software R which may serve you well in your careers.
This course includes a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experience in which your knowledge and skills will be applied and assessed in a real or simulated workplace context and where feedback from industry and/or community is integral to your experience.
