Course Summary

In this course you learn the principles and practices of financial management, planning and performance appraisal as a foundation to managing the performance of engineering and technological organisations. These principles and practices are essential for effective management of large scale engineering developments irrespective of whether what industry these developments are in. You acquire knowledge to manage financial performance in those organisations. You will develop your knowledge and capability with a series of learning activities that allow you to apply accounting principles and practices, understand and interpret financial statements, develop strategies to mitigate taxation implications, and most important of all, enable you to plan and prepare budgets for managing the engineering developments.
