Course Summary
COMM1218 Electronic Publishing aims to provide you with an opportunity to develop an understanding and appreciation of electronic publishing. The course explores the business models of commercial electronic publishers and how these impact on the management of, and access to, such digitally published content. A range of digital content issues will be examined during the early weeks of the course. We will then explore issues of design and writing for the presentation of digital content and later in the course, you will place this into context through a digital design/publishing exercise.
