Course Summary

This research course is designed to equip you with essential research skills that are paramount in the modern business environment. The objective of the course is to broaden your technical and managerial outlook by providing you with practical applications of MBA concepts and knowledge to real-world situations.
This course covers methodologies and tools to identify, research and analyse multi-disciplinary business problems in the managerial context. You will study key research paradigms and qualitative and quantitative methods, to unpack business problems. You will learn how to research and synthesise information from various sources and various analyses. You will also explore processes of analytics to allow you to apply methodologies in solving business problems and developing innovative solutions.
This course involves working on a research project. The selection of an appropriate research topic, research methodology and research methods, and the conduct of the research, will involve discussion and agreement between you and the academic staff.
