This course provides opportunities for knowledge and skills to enhance effective communication. Theoretical content for this course includes principles of effective communication within group and individual dynamics. Evidence based ways of working with consumers with challenging behaviours will also be explored. In addition strategies to promote self care and resilience in practice will be examined.
