Course Summary
This course is a global learning experience conducted in an intensive study period during which you will visit galleries, museums, cultural institutions and sites of significance.
The intensives' activities may include:
- Visits to key art sites
- Visits to public, private and community galleries, museum and collections
- Contemporary art festivals
- Artist talks and workshops
- Everyday on-site experiences
- Technical workshops
- Collaborations and/or partnered projects
You will direct your own learning in each intensive by identifying and investigating cultural, historical and contemporary aspects of the art world in the region you visit. You will actively engage and reflect on experiential learning activities to inform your own practice or interest in contemporary art and/or creative practice.
Please note that course enrolment fees do not include travel, accommodation or daily costs during the intensive. Refer to the Course Coordinator for details including itinerary; estimated travel and accommodation costs; any associated materials costs and deadlines.
Prior to the departure of there will be a series of meetings and administrative tasks to complete. Your full engagement is expected in these tasks.
