Course Summary

In this course you will examine some of the key strategic planning issues for cities and their surrounding environments in the context of international practice and thought. This course is designed to provide you with an understanding of strategic land use planning and its relationship to environmental concerns in cities in Victoria and internationally. You will examine issues in environmental, economic, and social contexts, and relates planning to governance and political frameworks by analysing decision making processes and the reasons for decisions.
