Course Summary

In this course you will learn principles of aerospace design for different contexts. The determination of a sized design of an aircraft concept is covered. This includes weight estimation, sizing, configuration, and optimisation. The course also covers the use of computer aided engineering software to facilitate team collaboration throughout the design process. Project management aspects are covered, as part of developing a plan for an aerospace project. This includes engineering practice aspects such as professional ethics and intellectual property.
