Course Summary

You will investigate why organisations that wish to succeed in a globally connected and competitive environment, require broader perspectives and a motivation to adapt to change. In the current market place, organisations need to demonstrate the power of effective supply chains and you will consider how organisations can improve their performance.
This course identifies and analyses the effective management of all aspects of the supply chain including the extended process to craft, build and deliver a product to the consumer. This involves the adoption of an holistic approach to the management functions and operational activities across the supply chain's 'extended' value chain, ensuring customers receive what they demand.
You will explore fundamental considerations required to make successful businesses out of design and manufacturing.
