Course Summary

This course provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge of advanced surveying techniques such as using Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), terrestrial based equipment, equipment calibration and basic geodetic computations for high precision surveying.
The course builds on the knowledge acquired in GEOM 2091 Surveying 3 with regards to using terrestrial measurements and appropriate formulae to perform geodetic computations. The course has a particular focus on the knowledge and skills required to effectively use advanced surveying equipment in high precision surveying.
If you are enrolled in this course as a component of your Bachelor Honours Program, your overall mark will contribute to the calculation of the weighted average mark (WAM).
