Cadastral surveying is an important component of the land development / land subdivision process and is a major area of practice for the Consulting Surveyor. It is therefore a core topic area for those students intending to proceed, after graduation, to become Licensed Surveyors and thus qualified to perform and certify cadastral surveys.
