Course Summary

This is a capstone course that will provide you with a practical professional approach to advanced least squares, the adjustment of survey networks and the methods to critically analyse these adjustment results for precision and accuracy. There is a strong emphasis on contemporary professional standards and using survey data from traditional as well as new and emerging technologies. It also investigates the realities of adjusting data from different sources, which may be of variable quality and reliability.
Please note that if you take this course for a bachelor honours program, your overall mark in this course will be one of the course marks that will be used to calculate the weighted average mark (WAM) that will determine your award level.
