Course Summary

This course provides you with an in-depth understanding of physical and chemical hazards found in the workplace and how they cause injury, ill health or fatalities.
You will use the risk management and professional practice models to recognise chemical and physical hazards, evaluate risk for fatality, injury or ill health arising from these, develop and implement appropriate risk controls and assess their effectiveness, while communicating with stakeholders.
You will use instrumentation to measure workplace contaminants and hazards
Safe systems of work and legal requirements related to these hazards are explored.
