Course Summary

This course provides you with the opportunity to engage in an in-depth study of the legal and regulatory issues associated with new and emerging technology and innovation. The coursework will focus on current issues in law and technology, examining the way that law has adapted, or is likely to adapt, to new developments in technology, digital disruption, new business models, and new forms of governance. The course will also consider the regulatory response in the face of innovation. The course content draws on Australian and international comparative materials where appropriate. The specific topics covered may vary from year to year, ensuring that the course is at the cutting edge of technological developments and the implications for the law and regulation.
