This course is an introduction to the practice, theories and principles of digital and hand visual literacy of design communication.

Design Sketching
You will explore the techniques used to produce form and narrative in sketching. Emphasis is given to learning and understanding how various visual elements combine together on a page to communicate the intended message as a creative professional. You will discribe 3 dimensional forms on a 2 dimensional surface with dynamic and expresses lie work.

Digital Documentation
The principles and practices of digital documentation will also be introduced and critically reviewed. Computer Aided Furniture Design introduces the use of 2 dimensional technical drawing and 3 dimensional modelling software programs to design practice.
Its emphasis is on the use of these software programs to refine design propositions and to encourage creativity in the use of the software commands and functions in producing design documentation.
