Design Process stimulates student exploration of design processes through studio-based design projects encouraging creative conceptual thinking and experimentation. Through the projects you will acquire a repertoire of design skills and knowledge necessary to undertake design work from conception through to realisation.
This course aims to expand your understandings and articulation of core principles of Furniture Design activity. The focus will be on design processes: research, creative thinking, conceptualisation, problem solving, the articulation and realisation of ideas (design) through multiple mediums. Key to this is to enable your with a level of autonomy and self-discipline, and the capacity to work productively and creatively with others.
