Design Studio 4 course is the further iteration of the design process through accumulated knowledge gathered from Design Studio 3.
Design Studio 4 course is based on developing a project that brings together a wide range of knowledge and skills that students have learnt through the first part of the undergraduate program, and applying and expanding on these through the development of a design project proposal.
The focus of this course is the creation of a piece of furniture ready for retail following the testing of a prototype.

This is the Capstone and WIL designated course for the Associate Degree in Design (Furniture Design) program and as such, students have the opportunity work in partnership with an industry partner, an industrial technologist and/or other furniture designers.
