Course Summary

This capstone Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course enables you to apply your knowledge of analytics, statistics and operations research to an authentic industry problem. You’ll learn how to understand real-world problems, analyse and interpret data in context, communicate results to non-technical audiences, work professionally with industry partners, and reflect on your growth and skills. 

You’ll work on a real-world or realistic project developed with industry or academic supervisors. All projects are designed to reflect genuine workplace challenges and help you build practical experience. Throughout the course, you will further develop your technical capabilities as well as essential professional skills, including stakeholder communication, project management, teamwork, presentation, ethical practice and reflective learning. 

This course prepares you to complete your program as an independent, reflective and work-ready analytics graduate.
