Course Summary

Science Honours Research Methods supports the effective execution of your Honours research project by developing advanced methodological competence, analytical capability and professional research practice relevant to scientific investigation.

Through a structured combination of modules, you will strengthen your skills in advanced information retrieval, critical evaluation of scientific literature, safe and ethical research conduct, data analysis and the professional communication of research findings. The modular design enables you to tailor selected components to suit the methodological demands of your Honours project.

Running alongside your research, this course enhances methodological rigour, analytical precision and scholarly communication, supporting you to implement and present your work to appropriate disciplinary standards.

If you are enrolled in this course as a component of your Bachelor Honours Program, your overall mark will contribute to the calculation of the Weighted Average Mark (WAM).
