This course offers students the opportunity to develop competency in the design, conducting, analysis and reporting of a laboratory-based research project. This course will enable students to apply their theory knowledge and skills acquired from the coursework courses in the MC158 program in a research setting.

This course involves all students undertaking a laboratory-based project. The laboratory-based projects can be offered at RMIT University or at external institutes depending on availability. Students must make their own daily travel arrangements to the research laboratories and complete a full semester load in their allocated research project.
