Course Summary

This course will introduce you to property and the capital markets. It will focus on the role of the property in the wider economy from an investment perspective. In this course you will learn about the activities of the various property stakeholders, the different property types and the range of property investments instruments ie property trusts.
This course will provide you with a balanced blend of theory and practical examples and will cover:
* Reasons for investing in property
* Property stakeholders types and roles
* Introduction to the capital markets (investment and finance sectors of the economy)
* Overview of property investment options
* Financing of property (equity and debt)
