Course Summary

Sustainability involves using resources to meet human needs in ways that minimise environmental harm so that our needs can be met in the future. The notion of sustainability is the subject of intense debate. In this course you will be exposed to different views on the sustainability debate in relation to:
* the environment
* industry
* economic issues and triple bottom line
* sustainable management

Managing for sustainability includes examination of ethics and ethical behaviour, managing staff for longevity within the organisation and sustainability in professional activity.
