Course Summary

This course will provide you with an introduction to key elements of corporate governance and responsible leadership. The course will examine some important areas of corporations law, emphasising the legal duties and obligations of directors, managers and the board, shareholder rights and remedies, and internal and external checks on fraud and corruption. Corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and international trends will also be explored. You will examine what constitutes good corporate governance and how to apply appropriate ethical standards to the role of a director, senior officer, or manager.
