This course introduces key project management (PM) processes and how they are managed and integrated in order to complete a project and realise project objectives. Specifically, this course examines:

• System Theory and Evolution of Project Management
• Project Objectives Vs Project Management Objectives
• PM knowledge areas, applying knowledge in PM processes and project integration
• How individual projects lead to Programs and Portfolios
• PM methodologies
• Supporting PM processes through the Project Management Office (PMO)

Extensive use will be made of case analysis of projects.
