Course Summary

This course provides you with the opportunity to pursue an area of interest within the field of Construction Management. You will be provided with a choice of workshop themes and will be able to study an area of particular interest under the guidance of a specialist in your chosen field. You will be guided through the most current research and/or practice of your chosen area. The objectives of this course are to develop your skills and knowledge so that you will be able to: critically engage in current issues within the construction industry; undertake independent research within a specialised field in construction management; and contribute to professional discussions in construction management. Topics offered may vary between years, but may typically include:
* Advanced Quantity Surveying Practice
* Advanced Construction Management
* Sustainability in the Built Environment
Please note that if you take this course for a bachelor honours program, your overall mark in this course will be one of the course marks that will be used to calculate the weighted average mark (WAM) that will determine your award level.
