Course Summary

The course prepares you for work in the construction industry. You will explore current trends in the construction industry across three domains: State, Federal and Regional/Global. The objectives of this course are to: develop your knowledge of the complexity of the construction industry, and how its various groups protect and influence it; develop your ability to analyse and discuss current economic, environmental, political and social issues across the state, federal and international contexts; and develop an appreciation of interest groups, institutions, professions, political parties, unions, business and industries, and how these work, and are understood, within the construction industry.
