Course Summary

In this course you will develop your abilities to use business analysis tools and models built on a range of technologies to enhance problem understanding, decision quality and innovative design of usable systems. Drawing on case studies, the following concepts will be examined: Types of Business Information Systems, Data and Information Management, Business Analytics and Decision Making, Legal, Ethical, and Security concerns, System Implementation and Digital Transformation, Information System Sustainability considerations.
You will collaborate with your peers to model business problems using Business Performance Management tools, data analysis and visualisation, mobile social network technologies to effectively communicate business decisions and generate business solutions to solve case studies depicting global information systems issues that will adhere to professional and ethical standards.
