This course builds on the foundational RPL knowledge from preceding courses, advancing students' understanding of aeronautical concepts, with a focus on cross-country navigation, flight planning, meteorology, and CASA regulations for private operations.
Key topics include interpreting weather reports, managing airspace classifications, and understanding pilot responsibilities. Human factors, such as decision-making and situational awareness, are also explored in greater depth. Through lectures, discussions, and practical exercises, this course equips students with the theoretical knowledge needed to undertake more complex flight operations and progress toward achieving their PPL.
