Course Summary

In the expanding and developing global property market, knowledge of real estate investment and finance strategies is critical to effective professional practice. In this capstone course will apply your knowledge of global trends in real estate investment and build your capacity to analyse different property market structures and performance measurements.
This course integrates the investment and finance skills and knowledge you have developed so far in this program to enable you to adopt a capital market approach to global property investment.
You will build on, and apply, the specialised knowledge and skills you have developed in the areas of investment and finance. You will also apply your knowledge of Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and develop your understanding of securitised property and investment funds.
Topics covered include: fund management structures; performance measurements; capital management; foreign exchange management; and reporting requirements.
