In this course you will explore and analyse the language of typography. The historical and cultural directions of typography including influential typographers will be examined. Your critical and creative skills in the application of type as image and the communication potential of type as text will be developed. Analysing the structure and application of different fonts will introduce you to the conventions of type management.
