Course Summary

In this course you will investigate and analyse historical and contemporary practitioners of graphic design. You will explore the place of graphic and communication design in contemporary culture and reference this in relation to a written response and practical briefs. You will respond to industry style briefs employing design process strategies to creatively interpret, communicate and resolve your design concept. Engaging with and developing technical skills and knowledge in a range of appropriate software to achieve graphic outcomes in both print and web formats. This includes user-centred digital and screen concepts and methods.
